    Yard Act Will Be Playing at the Teragram Ballroom

    One of our favorite acts at SXSW 2022 and Coachella 2022 will be coming back to Los Angeles! After playing a SOLD OUT show last month at the Zebulon, UK indie-rock act Yard Act will give fans an opportunity to see them again (or for the first time) at the Teragram Ballroom on Tuesday, October 11.

    We're almost there, Scenestar readers. The weekend is upon us and also one of our most anticipated shows this week courtesy of our Show of the Night champ: Sigur Rós! Icelandic post-rock act will finally be back in town tonight at 8 p.m. when they headline the Shrine Auditorium. This is the first time since 2017 that Sigur Rós plays a show here in Los Angeles. The group will play their hits and tracks of their first studio album of new music since 2013's Kveikur, which includes the return of former member Kjartan "Kjarri" Sveinsson, joining Georg Holm and J​​ónsi on tour.

Compton's very own Kendrick Lamar Duckworth will bring "The Big Steppers Tour" to Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday, September 14, Thursday, September 15, and Friday, September 16, in support of his upcoming album release, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. Fans in Orange County can see Kendrick Lamar when he headlines the Honda Center on Wednesday, September 7.

    Primavera Sound Los Angeles Adds More Acts

    Primavera Sound Los Angeles 2022

    We have another update on one of this year's most anticipated summer music festivals! As we previously reported, Primavera Sound will be taking place for the first time ever in Los Angeles from Friday, September 16, to Sunday, September 18, with headliners Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, and Nine Inch Nails. Today, the festival has added a few more acts to the bill. This includes Amyl and the Sniffers, Current Joys, Girl In Red, Giveon, Jeff Mills, and Surf Curse.

    Other notable acts performing this year include Arca, Bad Gyal, Beak>, Bicep, James Blake, Boy Harsher, Buscabulla, Cigarettes After Sex, Clairo, Darkside, Dry Cleaning, Fontaines D.C., Georgia, Kim Gordon, Gustaf, Helena Hauff, Khruangbin, King Krule, Little Jesus, Low, Mitski, Paloma Mami, PinkPantheress, Shygirl, Special Interest, Stereolab, John Talabot, Faye Webster, Tierra Whack, and possibly more acts will be announced closer to the festival date. There will be sideshows taking place around the city leading up to the festival starting on Monday, September 12.
