New Music Video - Julian Casablancas "11th Dimension"

Julian Casablancas has a new music video for the single "11th Dimension" off his solo release Phrazes For The Young that came out in November. Julian Casablancas recently had a Los Angeles residency at the Downtown Palace Theatre on Fridays in November and currently has tour dates on the East Coast in January. No word yet on a return to play any more dates in Southern California as a solo artist or as The Strokes who are currently working on a new album. No, we haven't heard any rumors confirming The Strokes playing Coachella by the band or representatives despite the band being scheduled for other festivals around the world but we'll keep you posted Scenestar readers on any solid news!

New Music Video - Sia "You've Changed"

Australia's Sia is back with a new music video for her single "You've Changed" off her upcoming release We Are Born out in April of 2010. Sia just recently played some shows this month in her native Australia and we wouldn't be surprised to see her play at Coachella next year or at least play some North American tour dates in 2010. We'll keep you posted on any Sia news as we hear it Scenestar readers!

New Music Video - Miike Snow "Silvia"

One of The Scenestar's favorite new artists of 2009, Miike Snow, is back with a new music video for their single "Silvia" off of their debut release Miike Snow. They are back on tour in the US in 2010 with the closest tour date in San Francisco on Thursday, April 15th at The Independent. Rumor has it that Miike Snow will be performing at Coachella in 2010 but guess we'll have to wait and see till the lineup is revealed, right? For now, the Bay Area is your best shot at seeing Miike Snow live in 2010.

New Music Video - Editors "You Don't Know Love"

Editors have a new music video out for their single "You Don't Know Love" off of their most recent release In This Light and On This Evening. Editors have already released In This Light and On This Evening in the UK and will be releasing the album in the US on January 19th. Music Video: Paul Oakenfold feat. Brittany Murphy "Faster Pussycat Faster" (2006) R.I.P.

"Faster Pussycat Faster" is the first single off Paul Oakenfold's 2006 release A Lively Mind featuring vocalist Brittany Murphy. Actress and recording artist Brittany Murphy passed away today due to cardiac arrest, Sunday, December 20th, 2009 at age 32 (1977 - 2009). Rest In Peace my beautiful friend. You will always be loved and remembered.

Trailer: The White Stripes "Under Great White Northern Lights"

The White Stripes are back! Not in the touring sense we would like but in the form of a new DVD, "Under Great White Northern Lights", now available as a limited edition boxed set. In the summer of 2007, The White Stripes embarked on a cross-country Canadian tour to accomplish their goal of performing in every province and territory across the expansive northern nation. Philadelphia's The Swimmers have a new music video for their single "A Hundred Hearts" off their recent release People Are Soft. The Swimmers are currently not on tour but are playing a benefit show for the JMML Foundation in Philadelphia on January 29th at Johnny Brenda's.

These New Puritans are back with a trippy new music video "We Want War" off their upcoming release Hidden on Domino Records. The British four-piece are currently on tour in the UK but hopefully we'll get some Los Angeles tour dates in the near future.

New Music Video - Junior Boys "Bits & Pieces"

Junior Boys are back with a new music video for their single "Bits and Pieces" off their most recent release Begone Dull Care. The Canadian duo were recently in Los Angeles for a Halloween themed show at the El Rey Theatre back in October and currently have no tour dates scheduled at this time.
