New Order & Johnny Marr At Santa Barbara Bowl

Here comes more "Localchella 2013" shows! If you wanted to see Johnny Marr and/or New Order, but missed out on getting festival passes to Coachella 2013, no worries, because both acts have teamed up to do some shows around the festival. First, there's a Las Vegas show at The Cosmopolitan on Thursday, April 11. Then, Johnny Marr and New Order will headline the Santa Barbara Bowl on Thursday, April 18. Both bands will also perform at Coachella on Friday, April 12, and Friday, April 19.

The XX To Play The Joint And Berkeley Greek

One of the toughest tickets in the past year, The XX is back for another round of shows! The British band last performed at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery's Fairbainks Lawn, and now The XX will headline The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas on Tuesday, April 16. Other dates include the Knitting Factory in Reno, Nev., on Wednesday, May 29, and Berkeley's Greek Theatre on Saturday, June 1.

For all of The XX's upcoming U.S. tour dates, tickets will likely be available this week through the band's fan club presale website via Crowd Surge. The Las Vegas and Berkeley shows will have a presale this Thursday, Jan. 23, at 10:00 a.m. Password: COEXIST. We'll keep you posted on when The XX has a Los Angeles-area date, Scenestar readers!

New Music Video - Little Boots "Headphones"

Scenestar favorite, Little Boots, has a brand new music video out for her single, "Headphones", off of her upcoming, yet to be named, album release. Little Boots doesn't have a Los Angeles area show scheduled but will be performing at the Electric Daisy Carnival this weekend in Las Vegas. We'll keep you posted when we get word of a local date so you can see Little Boots live Scenestar readers!

Thrice Announce Their "Farewell Tour"

Last year we got hints from vocalist Dustin Kensrue about a Thrice hiatus but now it's getting real. Thrice have just announced a farewell tour with local dates. You can say goodbye to Thrice starting with two dates at House Of Blues Anaheim on Thursday, June 14 and Friday, June 15 with a presale on Friday, Feb. 24 for $24.99, with onsale Thursday, Mar. 1 via Live Nation. No word yet on when their Saturday, June 16 Club Nokia show will go on sale but we'll keep you posted Scenestar readers!

James Pre & Post Coachella Dates Announced

James are returning to Southern California for Coachella 2012 but have added some shows around the festival for those who didn't get a chance to get passes. You can now see James live at The Independent in San Francisco on Wednesday, April 11. A Las Vegas date has also been added to the Hard Rock Cafe on Sunday, April 15 in Las Vegas and on Thursday, April 19 at House of Blues San Diego with opener, Elizaveta.

Tickets to see James at any of these new dates surrounding Coachella should be on sale this week. Be sure to catch James on Friday, April 13 and Friday, April 20 at Coachella if you head out to Indio and be sure to click below for more info on these upcoming James dates.
