Depeche Mode Adds 3rd Staples Center Date

It seems like there can never be enough Depeche Mode to satisfy Los Angeles, which is why a new tour date has been added! Already scheduled to perform at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Tuesday, Sept. 24, as well as Los Angeles dates at the Staples Center on Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29, Depeche Mode has added a third Staples Center show on Wednesday, Oct. 2. The band is currently touring in support of newest release Delta Machine. Crystal Castles is the opener for all these shows.

Youngblood Hawke To Play Santa Anita Park

Before performing at the Troubadour next week, Youngblood Hawke has a warm-up show this weekend! The band has teamed up with KROQ for a promotional show at Santa Anita Park on Saturday, March 2. Gates open at 10:00 a.m., races start at 12:00 p.m., and the band will perform two live sets throughout the afternoon. Also, KROQ DJs will spin music in between. Admission to see Youngblood Hawke at Santa Anita Park are on sale now for $5.00 for a general admission ticket, which you can buy now via Ticketmob. KROQ Releases Weekend 2 Coachella Passes

Missed out on passes for Coachella 2013? No worries because KROQ has just released more Weekend 2 three-day festival passes taking place on Friday, April 19, to Sunday, April 21.

Coachella 2013's weekend passes are SOLD OUT via Frontgate Tickets but you can get them now via KROQ for $349.00 for GA with a two-ticket limit per billing address. Green Day To Headline L.A. Sports Arena

Green Day has announced a return to Southern California, headlining the L.A. Memorial Sports Arena on Thursday, April 18. Best Coast will open the show. Tickets for this upcoming Green Day concert will go on sale Friday, Feb. 22, at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster for $26.50 to $46.50 each plus service fees. It's the first week of the New Year, and tonight kicks off FREE monthly residencies, Scenestar readers. Our choice for Show of the Night is one of our favorite local acts, PAPA! In support of debut EP A Good Woman Is Hard To Find as well as their forthcoming full-length album, PAPA will perform at the Bootleg Bar for the first show of their Monday night residency this month. Beat Club and Wardell are the openers for the FREE 21+ show, and KROQ's Kat Corbett will DJ in between sets. (PAPA also has a show this month at the Constellation Room in Santa Ana on Tuesday, Jan. 22, with Wildcat! Wildcat!.)

Alex Clare Returns To Play Regency Ballroom

Following a show last month at the Fonda Theatre as well as a set at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas, British artist Alex Clare is back in California next year! You can see Alex Clare live at San Francisco's Regency Ballroom on Tuesday, April 23.

Tickets to see Alex Clare at the Regency Ballroom will go on sale this Friday, Dec. 21, at 10:00 a.m. via AXS for $21.00 to $23.00 each plus service fees. No word yet on a Los Angeles-area date, but we'll keep you informed as always, Scenestar readers!
