For those of you that got your Lady Gaga tickets for any of her SOLD OUT shows this upcoming week at Nokia Theater at L.A. Live are in for a treat. Scenestar favorite DJ Daisy O'Dell has taken over the opening slot for Lady Gaga's The Monster Ball tour!

Now that Kid Cudi has stepped down, DJ Daisy O'Dell has stepped up to spin the hits to warm up the crowd before fellow opener Semi Precious Weapons and Lady Gaga take the stage. Hot Hot Heat Return With "Future Breeds"

It's been a while since we've heard from Hot Hot Heat but looks like we don't have to wait much longer. Future Breeds is their new upcoming release according to their newly launched website. Hot Hot Heat have been recording in their own studio based in Vancouver, Canada since their last major co-headlining tour with Editors who coincidentially also have a new album out too, In This Light and On This Evening. The band also has a new member, Parker Bossley, replacing longtime member Dustin Hawthorne.

The site mentions that Hot Hot Heat will be playing headlining gigs starting February 2010 in Vancouver then touring from there but we're hoping that they schedule a local headlining show in Los Angeles soon. Maybe a Coachella slot in April? Who knows but we'll keep our eyes posted for you Scenestar readers for the return of Hot Hot Heat in Los Angeles. DJ Daisy O'Dell recently remixed Dragonette's "Pick Up The Phone" off their newest album Fixin To Thrill. Vampire Weekend Coming This November

It's been a while Vampire Weekend! Where have you gone? Wherever they were, the band has finally emerged with a new album, Contra. Their single "Horchata" is currently available as a free download by clicking here. Vampire Weekend have scheduled some really random tour dates with the closest tour dates to us being around our perimiter of Los Angeles in Long Beach, Pioneertown, Bakersfield and Lomita.

One of our favorite DJs, Daisy O'Dell, has released the latest of her many remixes. This time she remixed none other than HEALTH's "Nice Girls"! HEALTH was recently in town to open for two of Nine Inch Nail's final shows at the EchoPlex and Henry Fonda Music Box while headlining at their own show at the Troubadour.

New Music - Editors "Papillon"

Editors are set to release their third studio album In This Light and On This Evening this September and have booked numerous shows in Europe.

The band just released their first new single "Papillon" this past week. You can go and stream the new track on Editors' MySpace.

We at The Scenestar will be blasting this tune till we get word on any future Editors tour dates so sit tight because you know we'll post any local Editor's tour dates the second we get them!

Radiohead Releases New Song Via Message Board

Radiohead may not be releasing new albums in the near future but they've been giving us a few songs little by little. "These Are My Twisted Words" appeared randomly on the Radiohead message board At Ease and has been since spreading all over the web. No word on whether the band did it intentionally or if it really is Radiohead but we should hear an official confirmation soon.
