As we previously reported, Phoenix had postponed their Culture Collide Festival show with Dinosaur Jr., on Wednesday, October 9, at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena. Now we have even worse news: The band has completely canceled the show, which was announced via e-mail to fans through Artist Arena.
Below is the e-mail, which was sent to those who ordered tickets via Artist Arena. You still have a chance to see Phoenix live when they perform at Club Nokia on Sunday, August 11, with Grouplove and LP. That show will benefit the Grammy Foundation. Tickets to the Grammy Foundation show at Club Nokia are on sale now via AXS for $39.50 to $49.50 each plus service fees. We'll keep you posted if Dinosaur Jr. schedules a show of their own, Scenestar readers!
