This week Red Bull Music Academy released a short film about one of our favorite labels, DFA! "12 Years Of DFA: Too Old To Be New, Too New To Be Classic" looks back at the start of DFA, when Jonathan Galkin, Tim Goldsworthy, and James Murphy went from getting together to throw parties to assembling the DFA label with such acts as Holy Ghost!, The Juan Maclean, LCD Soundsystem, and The Rapture, among others. "12 Years Of DFA: Too Old To Be New, Too New To Be Classic" was written, shot, and directed by Max Joseph and edited by Jeff Conrad. Thanks for the heads-up, Celeste Tabora! And enjoy this short film, Scenestar readers!
