La Roux Cancels Their Coachella 2012 Sets

Bad news for those of you wanting to see La Roux in Indio in April. This afternoon, La Roux was taken out of the Coachella 2012 lineup in which they were scheduled to appear on Sunday, April 15 and Sunday, April 22. In a statement posted on Coachella's website, La Roux released the following:

I'm gutted that we cannot play at my favourite festival. The show we played there in 2010 was one of the best I've ever done. Things are progressing well with the new record but I just don't have the time to finish it AND prepare a new set for Coachella. If they'll have us back we'd love to see you there.

We'll keep you posted on any other major changes concerning the Coachella 2012 lineup or if anyone is added to replace La Roux Scenestar readers!
