Bad news for local fans of the The Boxer Rebellion. The band was to return this month in support of their newest album release, The Cold Still, but had to cancel due to a personal tragedy. The Boxer Rebellion was scheduled to play at the El Rey Theatre on Friday, Oct. 28 with Canon Blue.
If you bought tickets to see The Boxer Rebellion at the El Rey Theatre via Ticketmaster, you should be contacted soon for refund information, if not, contact your point of purchase. Due to personal tragedy, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel our upcoming appearances in Mexico, Canada, and the United States. Rest assured your tickets will be refunded in full by your ticket office (or ourselves if you purchased via http://www.theboxerrebellion.com).

We are incredibly sorry to bear this bad news, and sincerely hope to see you all when we’re back on tour in 2012, which we will be.
Our December tour schedule will remain unaffected.
