New Music Video - Future Islands "Balance"

Future Islands have a new music for their single, "Balance", off of their newest album release, On The Water. You can see Future Islands this Saturday, Sept. 3 at the FYF festival or at their 18 and over headlining date at The Echo on Thursday, Nov. 17. Tickets to see Future Islands at FYF Fest are available now at select retail outlets listed here till the end of the day today but if you miss out, you can buy them online via Ticketweb for $40.00 till Friday, Sept. 2 at midnight. If FYF is not sold out by then, there will be limited tickets at the door. For those wanting tickets to future Goldenvoice shows, they will be onsite selling tickets for their shows without service fees. Kaiser Chiefs Cancel Their Music Box Date

Sorry Scenestar readers but we have another Brit cancellation to announce. English rockers Kaiser Chiefs are not coming to Los Angeles in 2011 due to the American release of their new album being moved to early 2012. Kaiser Chiefs were scheduled to play on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the Music Box in support of their upcoming release, The Future Is Medieval.

Ticket refunds for the Kaiser Chiefs show at the Music Box will be done via Ticketmaster or contact your point of purchase for further details. We'll keep you updated when Leed's own Kaiser Chiefs book their return to Los Angeles and sorry to those of you that had tickets to see them in September at the Music Box. The Sounds Also Play At HOB & The Wiltern

As we mentioned yesterday, Scenestar favorites, The Sounds, are returning for a headlining show! In support of their fourth studio album, Something To Die For, The Sounds booked a date at the Glass House in Pomona on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Now The Sounds have also added a date at House of Blues Anaheim on Sunday, Oct. 16 and the Wiltern on Wednesday, Nov. 17 with openers Kids At The Bar, The Limousines and Natalia Kills.

Tickets to see The Sounds at the Glass House go on sale on Friday, Sep. 9 at 10 a.m. via Ticketfly for $21.50 plus service fees while the House of Blues Anaheim and Wiltern date go on sale via Live Nation next Friday as well. The Roots To Play House Of Blues Sunset Strip

Scenestar favorite, The Roots, have booked a local tour date in support of their new album! You can see The Roots live on Saturday, Sept. 17 at House of Blues Sunset Strip. The tour date is in support of their latest release, Undone.

The Vaccines Cancel Their Music Box Date

We have bad news for those of you looking forward to seeing The Vaccines next month. Scheduled to play in support of their debut album, What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?!, The Vaccines have now cancelled their date at the Music Box on Tuesday, Sept. 13 with opener Tennis and Young Buffalo as well as the rest of their 2011 US, Mexico and Japanese tour dates into October.

If you have tickets to see The Vaccines at the Music Box, you can be refunded via Ticketmaster or via your point of purchase. Click below at the jump to see The Vaccines' statement rearding the cancellation and hope to see them return to Los Angeles once they recover!

Scenestar favorite, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, are playing another FREE show this week! Unknown Mortal Orchestra recently played at It's A School Night at Bardot on Monday, Aug. 29 along with The Submarines and The New No. 2. Now the Oregon-based band will be playing a in-store performance at Echo Park's Origami Vinyl!

Oasis' Noel Gallagher To Play UCLA Royce Hall

Yet another integral part of Oasis has booked a date at the end of the year in Los Angeles! First it was Beady Eye making plans to play at the Wiltern in December and now Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will preceed them when they perform at UCLA's Royce Hall on Thursday, Nov. 17 in support of their upcoming self-titled release.

Tickets to see Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at UCLA Royce Hall go on sale to the public on Friday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster for $37.00 - $77.00 a ticket plus service fees. There will be a presale on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. as well.
