Today, one of the most influential singers of the ’80s and a Scenestar favorite turns a VERY young 49. Dave Gahan, lead singer of Depeche Mode, celebrates his birthday today, May 9! Depeche Mode has meant a lot to us here at The Scenestar, and we wanted to take some time today to thank Dave Gahan and the rest of Depeche Mode for the music they have brought into our lives. Dave Gahan was recently honored at MusiCares Map Fund benefit event at Club Nokia for his accomplishments which also included a live performance by the Depeche Mode frontman along with bandmate Martin Gore. Happy Birthday Dave Gahan!
