The purple one returns! Prince recently announced to George Lopez on Lopez Tonight that he will play 21 shows at the Los Angeles Forum in Inglewood with the first date scheduled for April 14. Ticket info isn't available yet via Ticketmaster but you can get FREE tickets for the Lopez Tonight prince performance for his taping on Wednesday, April 13. This is the first time Prince performs in Los Angeles since he played at Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live, The Conga Room and Club Nokia all in one night in support of LotusFlow3er.

We tried e-mailing you but you gave us a fake e-mail "Ozwaldo". We also saw it on TV last night but figured the middle of the night to post a story is kinda pointless so it would be better to share the news in the morning. We were too worried (or slow) about posting "Shows of the Night" and the TV on the Radio's presale and got beat by DTLALobby. George Lopez broke the story so we mentioned him per our draft we set up last night but much props to Downtown Lobby for being the first local blog to write it up and go live. Glad he's getting the traffic and recognition from L.A. Weekly. =)

I waited till the morning (as difficult as that was) to write it up. We have a great relationship with Oscar and The Scenestar website and don't demand any type of credit.
