Tickets to the 12th Annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival just went on sale today but the big news of the day is regarding lodging. Once again taking place in Indio, Calif., from Friday, April 15, to Sunday, April 17, the general onsale for Coachella has music fans excited to finally get tickets after the festival sold out a few weeks before the event last year. Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire and Kanye West are the festival's headliners with an a great undercard of old favorites and up and coming bands. With ticket sales for 3-day passes already at a heavy volume, the first thing to sell out today was camping for both tent and car!
Tent camping no longer being available to the public around 10 a.m. with car camping not being an option anymore around 5:30 p.m. this evening. There's still plenty of tickets as of press time but we wouldn't wait if we were you Scenestar readers since this year is unlike any other. We're guessing music fans are underestimating the demand of fans from seeing reunions from Caifanes, Death From Above 1979, and Suede along with an already stellar lineup.
Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster for $269, plus $3 for charity and service fees. Limited VIP will be available for $699, plus $3 for charity and service charges. Tickets will only be available on the phone or via internet on Ticketmaster so if you have cash only, buy a prepaid credit card to complete your purchase. If you want tickets but low on cash, you still have the layaway option available. No tickets will be sold at Coachella regardless of tickets sold but we're expecting festival tickets being gone sooner than later. Luxury accomodations are also still available via Valley Music Travel. Click below to get your tickets, and we'll see you at the Empire Polo Fields in April, Scenestar readers!
