The Strokes Make Return At Isle Of Wight

The Strokes are finally making their live comeback for the first time since 2006! They will be joining Blondie, Jay-Z, Orbital, Pink and more at the Isle of Wight Music Festival June 11th - 13th of 2010. The Strokes will be the headliner on June the 12th. Tickets for the festival go on sale this Friday, December 4th but you can get them December 3rd via special presale by clicking below for those of you that want to travel out to see them live. If not, we're hoping The Strokes will get added to a festival closer to us here in Los Angeles. Coachella maybe? We'll see but for now we're glad to finally see The Strokes make their comeback in 2010.

The Bird and The Bee have a new music video out for their single "Diamond Dave" off their most recent release Ray Guns Are Not Just The Future. No tour dates right now for The Bird and The Bee but we wouldn't be surprised to see random ones pop up for the Los Angeles duo.

BRMC Announce EchoPlex Show + World Tour

One of The Scenestar's favorite bands is back and ready to take on the world with some new music! Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is getting ready to release their fifth studio album, Beat The Devil's Tattoo in March of 2010 on their label, Abstract Dragon. Not only do we get new music but they''ve announced North American and European tour dates! Black Rebel Motorcycle Club start their tour on Friday, February 26th in Sacramento and will eventually make their way to us in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 14th at the intimate EchoPlex!

Immediately following the end of their US dates, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will head over to Europe to continue their world tour. Most of their shows will go on sale on Thursday, December 4th unless otherwise noted below. A special pre-sale for all of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's shows will start this Wednesday, December 2nd on their MusicToday.com site so click below and sign up now to get your tickets before they sell out:

Aimee Mann Adds 3rd Largo Date

We told you the shows would sell out but lucky for you Scenestar readers that Aimee Mann is feeling the Christmas spirit. Aimee Mann has decided to add a third date at Largo her annual Christmas shows! She will be playing her hits and music from her most recent Christmas album, One More Drifter In The Snow. The new Aimee Mann date will be on Tuesday, December 15th following the already SOLD OUT Christmas shows on Sunday, December 13th and Monday, December 14th at 9pm.

Morrissey has had a banner year in terms of show controversy and that's one of the reasons we at The Scenestar love him so much! From his repulsion to the stench of meat in the air at Coachella, to collapsing at his Swindon show, to canceling a show in Liverpool due to getting hit with a bottle and finally kicking a fan out of a show in Hamburg, Germany, it was hard for Morrissey to stay out of the news in 2009. Now Morrissey has hit American shores and who knows what will happen when he plays here in Southern California in support of Swords. That's why we at The Scenestar are giving you the chance to see if anything crazy happens when Morrissey plays live at our favorite new venue of 2009, the Fox Theater in Pomona, next Monday, December 7th!

Major Lazer has a dancey but scary looking new music video for their single "Keep It Going Louder" off of their 2009 release Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do. Diplo's new project, Major Lazer, recently played Electric Daisy Carnival and are now currently on tour in the UK.

One band that definitely wowed us with their live show the past few months was Little Dragon when they played KCRW's Masquerade Ball and now they're back in town! Sweden's Little Dragon will be playing at the El Rey Theatre this Friday, December 4th in support of their latest album Machine Dreams. Now you can hear their hits "Feather" and "My Step" live to start off your weekend and The Scenestar wants to give you the chance to do it!

Kidrockers Returns With The 88 @ The Echo

Kidrockers is finally back kids! After a sensational show with The Henry Clay People and the Silversun Pickups last time, Kidrockers will be will be returning next Saturday, December 5th at 1pm for a special show with two more of our local favorites, The 88 and The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra. The Echo is ready to take on all you little girls and boys regardless if you charge the stage again or not. Also making a special appearance is Beth Feldman, founder of Rolemommy.com and author of the new book “See Mom Run.”

Just a refresher on Kidrockers, it's an all ages show meant for kids 3 - 13 years old where kids must be accompanied by an adult and vice versa. Tickets are available on Ticketweb for $9 online, $12 at the door so bring your favorite sibling, niece, nephew or favorite neighborhood kid to check out Kidrockers live next Saturday at The Echo!

Jonathan Boulet has a new music video for his catchy single "A Community Service Announcement" off his upcoming self-titled album Jonathan Boulet out on December 4th. Jonathan Boulet just recently signed to Modular at age 21 and should be hearing more about him once the record drops. There's no Jonathan Boulet tour dates scheduled in Los Angeles just yet but if you're in Sydney, Australia, there's plenty to go around! Check out Jonathan Boulet there if you can but we're hoping to see him in town pretty soon.

Erykah Badu To Play New Year's Eve @ HOB

Erykah Badu is back for another round of Baduism here in Los Angeles. This time it's to kick off 2010! House of Blues Sunset Strip is the spot where Erykah Badu will once again be gracing us with her presence on Thursday, December 31st. Erykah Badu will be bringing the hits to help kick off the New Year as well as tracks from her upcoming release New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh) out in 2010.

Tickets go on sale to the public for Erykah Badu at House of Blues Sunset Strip via Ticketmaster this Saturday, November 28th at 10:00am.
