Over the weekend in Milton, Ontario in Canada, Hot Hot Heat's performance at Chill On The Hill was cut short by an unfortunate incident. Near the end of the set, guitarist Luke Paquin was electrocuted by his microphone and was tossed back during the band's performance of "Bandages". Luke Paquin was carried away and paramedics were called in to assist.
The shock to Luke Paquin is reported not to be as severe as it could have been according to reports and the guitarist is now recovering with minor nerve damage. Canadian band Hot Hot Heat are currently finishing up their fourth studio album and have just recently finished a co-headlining tour with Bloc Party in Canada. See below for footage of the incident courtesy of YouTube.
