So you missed out on our Black Lips contest Wednesday? Not to worry! Black Lips have another tour date coming up in Los Angeles. The band will be playing at the El Rey Theatre Friday, May 1st and we have your tickets to get into the gig! Black Lips will be joined by Flowers Forever, Static Static and a DJ set by Simon Bennett.

Wilco Add Extra Wiltern Show June 25th

So you missed out on Wilco's on sale for their Pomona Fox Theatre and two Wiltern shows because you were still in your post-Coachella coma? Well, lucky for you, Wilco has decided to add a third tour date now that you recovered!

Wilco will be adding a third show at The Wiltern Thursday, June 25th. Tickets go on sale for this show May 2nd at 10:00am. This tour is in promotion of Wilco's forthcoming DVD Ashes Of American Flags out April 18th.

Rock The Bells Announces Southern California Tour Date

The line-up for Rock The Bells 2009 featuring Nas, Damian Marley, The Roots, Common, Big Boi (of Outkast), KRS-One now has a tour date. Just announced, Southern California will be hosting Rock The Bells on August 8th at San Manuel Amphitheatre! Tickets are scheduled to go on sale May 2nd. Silversun Pickups To Play Benefit Show At EchoPlex

Fresh off an appearance at Coachella and their new release, Swoon, the Silversun Pickups are taking time off their busy schedule this week to give back to their community. This Thursday, the Silversun Pickups and Eulogies will be playing a charity show at EchoPlex for Pablo Castelaz & the Pablove Foundation in support of cancer research.

The Black Keys and Yeah Yeah Yeahs To Play Independence Jam

Are you ready for another festival that's not so far from Los Angeles? If you are, FM 94.4's Independence Jam in Oceanside is back! This year's line-up includes The Black Keys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric and Dead Confederate, just to name a few of the bands playing this year.

The festival will take place on Sunday, June 7th, at Oceanside Pier Plaza Amphitheatre. Tickets just went on sale at noon and are economically priced at $30, with no service fees! $1 of each ticket sold will go to the About Music Fund. Get your tickets now!

New Video: M83 - "We Own The Sky"

M83 has a new video for their single "We Own the Sky," from recent release Saturday = Youth. M83 has scheduled shows next month at the Glass House in Pomona on May 20th and Belly Up Tavern in Solano Beach (near San Diego) on May 21st. Tickets are now on sale via Ticketmaster.
