Art Brut To Play A 4 Show Series At The Echo & Spaceland

Watch out Los Angeles because another multiple date residency is coming! The UK's own Art Brut will be back in town playing a four show series at Spaceland and The Echo in June. No, they won't be playing all four shows in one night like Prince but it should still be good times for all. The shows are in support of Art Brut's upcoming release Art Brut VS Satan out May 12th.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs Release Final "Snakesweat" Video

The Yeah Yeah Yeah's new album, It's Blitz!, has finally hit store shelves for all to enjoy. Also today, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have given us the final viral video of their "Snakesweat" series. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have only booked festival dates this side of the pond including our very own Coachella. The band is also schedule to perform their single "Zero" April 14th on Late Show with David Letterman and April 15 on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Nine Inch Nails & Jane's Addiction Add Santa Barbara Date

Already booked at two venues in Southern California, Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction have decided to add one more date at probably one of the smallest venues on their NINJA Tour, The Santa Barbara Bowl. They will be playing in Santa Barbara Thursday, May 21st with tickets going on sale to the general public April 4th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.

The Smashing Pumpkins Hold Auditions For Drummer

Who says it's too late to make your rock and roll dreams come true? Well, if you're a drummer, this might just be your chance. Now that Jimmy Chamberlin left the Smashing Pumpkins, the band is looking to fill his spot. Auditions are being held next Friday, April 10th in Los Angeles for interested drummers who want to join The Smashing Pumpkins.

Metric To Play Wiltern This June

Once The Scenestar heard Metric's new album Fantasies was scheduled for release soon, we've been eagerly anticipating a tour date here in Los Angeles. Looks like our wait is over! Metric will be playing at The Wiltern Monday, June 8th. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, April 3rd via Live Nation. With Coachella just days away, Goldenvoice has announced that All Points West is back! Affectionally called "Coachella West", All Points West is establishing itself as one of the premiere summer festivals in the U.S. For you Southern California Scenestar readers willing to travel to check out the 2nd annual festival, individual tickets are priced at $89.00 with 3-Day passes going for $199.00. U2 Set To Play Rose Bowl In October

The wait is over Southern California! U2 has announced their West Coast 360 Tour dates this morning. They will be playing The Rose Bowl Sunday, October 25th. Tickets go on sale to the public Monday, April 6th via Ticketmaster. Limited VIP Packages for U2 are already available via their tour page for $521.50 with a pre-sale set to begin this Tuesday for premium suscribers.

Fire Marshall Forces Travis To Move To Wiltern

Due to capacity issues, Travis has cancelled their April tour dates at The Music Box and have combined both shows into one. They will now be playing one tour date at The Wiltern, Friday, April 10th. No news regarding an additional Travis show at The Wiltern. Tickets for both shows will be honored for the single date at The Wiltern or you can be refunded at point of purchase if you aren't able to attend the rescheduled tour date.
