Yeah Yeah Yeahs "It's Blitz" Promotion In Full Gear

For an album that's coming out in April, there sure is a lot of buzz surrounding It's Blitz, the 3rd full length album by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Already "leaked" "Zero" (Thanks radio recorded MP3) & "Heads Will Roll" (Thanks Kanye) are getting a lot of attention and a focal point to the direction the band is taking with their new album. If the leaked album isn't catching your attention, then maybe the strange series of Yeah Yeah Yeahs "webisodes" leading up to the album release probably will. No Doubt Announces Reunion Tour Dates

Well, maybe they weren't officially broken up but that was a pretty long hiatus. The wait is over now and Orange County's own No Doubt has announced their US tour dates starting in May and will be joined by Scenestar favorites The Sounds & Bedouin Soundclash. Tickets go on sale to the general public March 7th but a special presale will be held this Thursday, February 26th at 4pm (local venue time) through musictoday.com. Southland venues for this tour include Irvine's Verizon Wireless Amphitheater and San Diego's Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. No Los Angeles venues or rumored Coachella appearance has been confirmed for now but we'll see with time. See below for presale link:

Depeche Mode Announce North American Tour Dates & Album Details

The long wait is over Depeche Mode fans. The band has announced their North American tour dates for their upcoming "Tour Of The Universe" today along with more Sounds Of The Universe album details. The album is set to drop in the UK April 20th and April 21st in the US. It will be available on standard CD, digital download, double vinyl LP, deluxe CD/DVD format and a special Deluxe Box Set with tons of exclusive material. Details on the different releases can be found on the SOTU site. "Wrong", the first single of their upcoming Sounds Of The Universe album, will be released April 6th in the UK, April 7th in the US with radio play beginning February 23rd.

Cities and dates for the group's 2009 North American concert tour are below. Depeche Mode's tour will have them making their first ever Hollywood Bowl performance. Tickets will be on-sale to the public on March 15th. Other dates on schedule will tentatively be on-sale March 13th. Most venues are TBA:

Listen up Coldplay fans. The boys may have been shut out at the Brit Awards but you won't today starting at 10am. Coldplay will be having not one, but TWO continuous pre-sales.

KROQ will have their allotment available with their street team password "VIVALAKROQ" while Live Nation will have their Ticket Rush pre-sale with the password "VENUE". Support will be Amadou & Mariam and Kitty Daisy & Lewis. If you get shut out of either pre-sale, you'll have a another chance Saturday at 10am. Good luck Scenestar readers!

July 18th: Coldplay at The Forum

Iron and Wine at Troubadour, Hollywood Forever

If you want to catch Iron and Wine in an intimate venue, Sam Bean will be at the Troubadour on May 9. Tickets go on sale today, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m. and cost $25. There is a two-ticket limit for this show, and tickets are only available via Ticketmaster. No fax orders! Also, there will be no hard tickets, so will call only.

Iron and Wine also will perform at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on May 8 with Alela Diane and DJ Turquoise Wisdom. Tickets for that event also are on sale today at 12 p.m.
