The Kooks Perform Sidewalk Sets

As you already know, The Kooks are performing May 19 at the Wiltern. But this kooky band also is doing something different. They will be participating in an event entitled “Sidewalk Sets,” which has musicians performing at unannounced locations around major cities. Yep, it’s busking, except this time, they’re musicians you recognize.

All of these unannounced performances will culminate in an acoustic performance at the Kibitz Room at Canter’s Deli on May 20. The first 50 people to arrive at Canter’s Deli will be admitted to the performance. For more details on these unannounced performances, visit The Kooks’ MySpace.
