The Kooks bassist Max Rafferty quits

On the eve of The Kooks’ two sold-out Los Angeles shows—at the Troubadour (Feb. 7) and the Echo (Feb. 8)—bassist Max Rafferty has left the band.

Posted today on The Kooks’ Web site: Max Rafferty has parted company with the kooks , the band will be continuing with the forthcoming shows. Dan Logan bassist with local Brighton band cat the dog will be filling in for the short term.

The band is currently touring in support of upcoming second album Konk, which will be released in the U.K. April 15.
