To our faithful readers local or international, tipsters, contest fanatics, Twitter followers, Facebook friends, fellow concert goers, message board dwellers and even those who visit us randomly for "secret" shows involving Thom Yorke or other interesting news. To all the bands, Los Angeles concert promoters, radio stations, labels, PR companies, local venues, festivals, managers, DIY house party hosts, DJs, doorwomen/men, friendly bouncers/security, guest list clipboard holders, ticket window workers, bartenders, fellow music sites/blogs/magazines, late night eateries/taco trucks/hot dog carts, merch people, comedians, residencies and music shops.

We are VERY thankful for all of you being part of us because we still wouldn't be here without you. For reals. A lot of you have gone the extra mile and more to help make us what we are today and don't think we've forgotten or not that it's not appreciated. You know who you are. We love you Los Angeles so much that we try to love you back even more with the best music news by Los Angelenos for Los Angeles in as timely manner as possible. You're all The Scenestar as much as we're The Scenestar but we think alot more because we really wouldn't be here without your support or encouragement. We hope you spend the day with loved ones but if you feel that you're not, always remember that we love you so much more than you'll ever know. THANK YOU. Happy Thanksgiving/Thankstaking everybody!

New Music Video - Fever Ray "Keep The Streets Empty"

Fever Ray has premiered their new music video for "Keep The Streets Empty" off their self-titled album Fever Ray on Pitchfork today! Fever Ray played one of the top five shows of the year in Los Angeles (The Glass House has a slight edge over the Henry Fonda Music Box show) in our opinion here at The Scenestar and we're hoping they return at least for Coachella. New Music Video - Florence & The Machine Stella Ad

Florence and the Machine has a cool little Stella Artois ad circa 1960's style out now where she performs "You Got The Love" in a French variety show! We sooooo want that robot. What we at The Scenestar want even more is a return appearance following their most recent show at the Troubadour in support of their latest release Lungs. Florence + The Machine are currently on tour in Germany before heading to Singapore and Australia.

Volunteers Needed For KCRW Subscription Drive

Kcrw It's almost that time again! One of our favorite radio stations here in Los Angeles, KCRW, will be starting their Winter Subscription Drive starting Friday, January 29th through February 8th, 2010. KCRW is a public radio station based in Santa Monica and plays alot of the music we know and love here at The Scenestar. In fact, most of the Scenestar staff are KCRW members! One of our photographers even won the Morning Becomes Eclectic contest to see Bloc Party in London. They also managed to see Royksopp with Fever Ray opening during his trip!

What KCRW needs from you Scenestar reader is help answering phones in their pledge room using a computerized pledge-taking system that's really easy to use. KCRW even has an 20 minute online orientation slide show so you can learn before you show up on how to use their pledge system! We volunteered last drive and it felt good helping one of our favorite radio stations while meeting new friends, eating great food, winning prizes and meeting some of our favorite KCRW DJs.

Gobble Gobble Give @ The Echo

It started with one person, Echo Park resident Barry Walker, who cooked and delivered Turkey Day meals to the homeless in his neighborhood... and now a group of friends in Echo Park have shown up to help cook and deliver meals for the past 10 years – the first year, 28 homeless were fed! The next year more showed up and over fifty meals went out. The following year, we reached the 100 mark and last year we were able to feed over 1,500 homeless in our neighborhood and leave them with t-shirts, beanies, shoes, sweaters, and tooth brush kits. Gobble Gobble Give is a community event and has become an incredible example of what a community can do to make change.

Gobble Gobble Give is looking for volunteers on every level who can give food, money, or clothing and those who can donate their time this upcoming Thanksgiving day by cooking, warming, packaging and delivering food to the homeless in Echo Park and Downtown LA. Every little bit helps those in need, so show some love and give a friend a reason to be thankful!

Click below for more info on how you can help Scenestar reader and help make our community a better place for at least one day:
