    George Fest Moves From El Rey To Fonda

    George Fest Fonda TheatreWe previously reported that George Fest: A Night to Celebrate the Music of George Harrison will take place on Sunday, Sept. 28, at El Rey Theatre. But due to "overwhelming" demand, the show has been moved to the Fonda Theatre.

    Event organizer Best Fest writes via Facebook: "Ladies & Gentlemen… Due to the overwhelming response to George Fest - SOLD OUT IMMEDIATELY - we are moving the show to the larger FONDA THEATRE… Same show, same date, NEW venue…"

    The event—with proceeds going to the Jameson Fund to benefit Sweet Relief—will feature performances by Brian Wilson, Norah Jones, Brandon Flowers and Mark Stoermer of The Killers, Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips, Britt Daniel of Spoon, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Nick Valensi of The Strokes, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.     Dawes To Headline The Constellation Room


    Now that Dawes is done opening The Avett Brothers at the Shrine Auditorium, they're ready to play their own tour dates! You can head down to Orange County to see Dawes live at the Constellation Room on Sunday, Oct. 12 in support of current release Stories Don't End. Other dates nearby include dates at Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace on Saturday, Oct. 11 and at Soho in Santa Barbara on Thursday, October 16.

    Damien Rice Back At Cathedral Immanuel

    It's been a long time since Damien Rice has played a local show. We haven't see Damien Rice play since his Hotel Cafe gig with Laura Marling back in 2012, but now on tour in support of upcoming release My Favourite Faded Fantasy, Damien Rice will play an intimate show at the Cathedral Sanctuary at Immanuel Presbyterian Church on Thursday, October 9. The album is Damien Rice's first new release in eight years.

    Interpol Announce Another Fox Theater Date

    As we previously reported, Interpol have followed up a packed set at FYF Fest 2014 on Saturday, August 23, with a now SOLD OUT show at the Fox Theater in Pomona on Monday, Sept. 22. For those of you that missed out, Interpol will be playing another date with opener Rey Pila on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the Fox Theater in support of their new album El Pintor.

He played an intimate date back in 2009 at El Rey Theatre but it was invite only or you had to win your way in. Now in support of his newest release Tell Em I'm GoneYusuf Islam will be headlining a date at Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live on Sunday, December 14.

Plenty of concerts await this Monday but we're going with a special performance for our Show Of The Night featuring Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino! Childish Gambino has a intimate Q&A and performance scheduled at the GRAMMY Museum tonight in Downtown Los Angeles. You can also see Childish Gambino live on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the National Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino where he will perform along with Outkast, Flosstradamus, Lil B, Over Doz, and many more.

    If you can't get in to our Show of the Night, your other music options include performances by AFI, Bones Muhroni, Fathers & Sons, Fenech-Soler, The Janks, and many more.
